Life Studies

Ever since I can remember I’ve loved the challenge of drawing and painting people. Even in primary school, I used to draw my peers and made doodles of imaginary people.

I’ve taught Life classes and participated in Life sessions for years and it remains the most absorbing and important work practice I do. The photos of work here represent the results of short sessions but the practice builds confidence in tackling more serious portraiture.
